OG Designs & Creations is an artist collective created by Artisans and Designers, Okirah Harris and Grayson Howell. Harris and Howell are passionate about using art and dynamic designs to bridge connection between cultures and communities. Their murals and art installations use colors and imagery that ignites a sense of joy and happiness, while also advocating for equity and inclusion.

2024 Art in Bloom 'Build-a-Bouquet Pop Up Shop' with the NCMA
OG Designs & Creations created an reusable and transportable Flower Shop installation in support of the North Carolina Museum of Art's 10th Annual Art in Bloom Festival/Fundraiser. This installation was hosted at North Hills and Fenton, and welcomed over 900 guests to build flower arrangements and learn more about the fundraiser.

2021 'Do Good' Mural in Downtown Raleigh
OG Designs Creation designed this mural in collaboration between Activate Good and the Raleigh Murals Project, with support from PNC Bank and LM Restaurants. More than 100 community volunteers contributed their time and talent to the Community Mural Project, resulting in the creation of a vibrant, inspirational mural, located at 19 E. Martin St. in Downtown Raleigh. The mural, which bears the message, ‘Do Good,’ came to life Sept. 10-12, in observance of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and in commemoration of Activate Good’s September Month of Service.

2021 Welcome Sign for the Sunflower Field at Dorothea Dix Park
OG Designs & Creations created this welcome sign in collaboration with Dorothea Dix Park, to welcome visitors to their 5-acre sunflower field. When the sunflower field is in full bloom, it attracts people from around the city, county and throughout the state - totaling around 30,000 visitors.

2020 'A Seat at the Table' Community Chair at Moore Square Park in Downtown Raleigh
OG Designs & Creations painted this chair in collaboration with the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. Our goal for this project was to highlight the diversity and importance for inclusion in the city, and showcase the vibrancy of the local community.

2020 'Sisterhood' Picnic Tables at Dorothea Dix Park
If you take a stroll through Dix Park, you’ll notice new murals by local artists. Okirah Harris and Grayson Howell, with OG Designs & Creations painted the picnic tables at Flowers Field with sisterhood in mind. The ultimate end goal -- to make people feel good and encourage them to spend more time outdoors.

2020 WRAL Nights of Lights Welcome Sign
In collaboration with WRAL, OG Designs & Creations created a large entrance sign to welcome visitors to their 1.3-mile light show at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The welcome sign featured vibrant colors, multimedia elements including bright holiday themed lights, and stood over 6ft tall. The event aimed to provide an opportunity for the community to celebrate the holidays in a safe, crowdless environment. Along the route, attendees, safe inside their vehicle, enjoyed the oaks of Dix Park wrapped in holiday lights as well as many holiday themed installations.

2020 DHIC, Inc. Temporary Mural
In 2020, at the height of COVID and social protests, many businesses were boarded up by bare plywood. OG Designs & Creations worked with DHIC, Inc. - a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of high-quality housing communities in the Triangle region of NC - to create a temporary mural that supported the message of their mission. Through vibrant colors and silhouettes of people, the mural conveys the importance of communities and the need from respect, compassion, innovation, and equity.

2020 BLM Temporary Mural
OG Designs Creation designed this mural with support from Raleigh Murals Project, The Black on Black Project, and several donating community members. At the rise of COVID-19 and social unrest, OG Designs & Creations created a mural that asked community members to directly interact with the mural by writing what the 'Black Lives Matter' movement meant to them. This mural was created as a temporary installation at Mofu Shoppe.
